A workspace for consultants and verifiers
It works in the CBAM module today. A consultant runs clients from one list, and a verifier reads from the trail which document each number comes from.
Consultancies
If you run the files of several producers, you do not need to rebuild the calculation, evidence and output set-up for each one.
- The consultant role works in the client's data, user management stays with the client.
- The same calculation engine and rule version for every client.
- All clients in one list with open periods, missing data and deadlines.
- A white label option comes in the next release.
Verifiers
Verification is required when actual emissions are declared, at a reasonable level of assurance. The materiality threshold is 5% of total specific embedded emissions per tonne. 2023/956 Art. 8(1); 2025/2546 Art. 3(1), Art. 5
- An audit trail for each result: source line, factor, rule version.
- Every activity data line is linked to an evidence file.
- Period lock: a verified period does not change afterwards.
- Operator report content in the order of 2025/2547 Annex IV.
- The verification pack is one ZIP with a SHA-256 hash for every file.
A shared record
Three parties read the same trail
The consultant collects and interprets the data, the verifier checks it, the producer approves. All three look at the same record; who changed what and when stays in the audit log.
